I have an issue with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Phone. Its sometimes possible to do phone calls and the its not possible again. So i have to restart the phone again. Its very disappointed because i want to use the phone as daily driver. The other things exept of doing videos work fine.

@alex87 - are you able to make calls without the receiver hearing an echo? - that is my ongoing issue with the device. Are you using GSI, or OTA-15, and of OTA-15, what channel (stable, rc, devel) are you on?

          Best regards,

@totalsonic I freshly got a new Redmi Note 7, phone calls are working, but there's indeed an echo.
I tried to enter this command in the terminal, but no change:

            setprop persist.audio.fluence.voicecall false

No idea if I need to first sudo, or remount the system.
Thanks a lot for your feedback.

EDIT: It works now. In fact, a valid Sim Card must be inserted while running the command. I also ran it with sudo (root). But problem reappears after each reboot. Is there a way to fix it permanently?
