I am on OTA-15. The OPO does not have any hardware buttons so the only way (that I know of) to navigate the UI is to left or right swipe to either bring up the main home screen launcher or to see and switch active apps. The problem is that when I have an app open and try to left/right swipe it almost ALWAYS acts on the app itself rather than bringing up the launcher or the app switcher. So, for instance: I have Bitwarden open and have just selected and copied a password and now want to switch to the app where I need to paste the password. So, I swipe from the right edge but instead of showing me the open apps it just erases the text I have highlighted in Bitwarden.

Any ideas on how to make this work better?

@dremelts It needs a bit of practice, but try to make the swipe from right really begin outside of the screen. Also, a short swipe will change between the last app open and the active app, and a longer one will bring up the app spread, so sometimes that also gets mixed up. I found it a bit harder to learn in the first place but then after some time you will get it into muscle memory πŸ˜‰

@dremelts Yeah like Florian said, it takes a bit of time to get used to it because swiping behavior we get on Android/iOS is quite different. Also, if you have a phone case then it'll get a bit more tricky. You can change the sensitivity in UT Tweak Tool though. Edge size makes the sensing width on each edge so your swipe will be detected more.

@kugiigi @Flohack Thanks for the feedback. I do not have a case on the phone but I do have one of those glass screen protectors on it. I think I will peel that off and see if that helps. I will also check out the tweaks you mentioned.

@dremelts Oh yeah, that too can hinder good experience with edge gestures especially those that doesn't fully cover all the edges.

@kugiigi I removed the screen protector and adjusted the Edge drag areas width with the tweak tool. A definite improvement!!

                  Thanks again for the tips.
