help! kernel is not seandroid enforcing on Galaxy Note4
-
@flohack its an error that I have been unable to re-produce on my note 4, I would need a log either from last_kmsg or ram_oops to know what is going on, the red error can safely be ignored as Florian has said.

@tigerpro
Hi, I just installed UT on the device, 910F, I have the red massage but the phone boot correctly. -
@tigerpro
Do you think this could be an issue with the 910T3 model of the Note 4? Cause I'm having the same issue as OP, and download mode says "Product Name: SM-N910T3", and from what I've heard, the model 3 is slightly different (and likely a bit rarer) -
@valcuda this is an issue that is strictly related to the 910T and variants, I have been told there is no useful information in the logs by a 910T developer, I will take a look into this issue when I have a moment, as I just started a new job.

Hello I got also this message on boot.
When I use my phone for about 10 to 15 minutes it just shut down without any warnings or notification.
Then I switch it on and everything works fine - don´t know what the error could be...
-
@valcuda no I haven't. It seems that there is no solution, at least not for me.

Greetings.
I have the same message on my screen (Kernel, warranty), however the phone boots after 20 seconds or so.
Now about the "installing update" screen, I also had that when first flashed my 910F, but it installed everything (I guess) and never stuck again. I know, I am not being very helpful here, but I am sharing my experience for any reference that might be needed.
On the wrong side now, my phone crashes occasionally and auto-restarts. It is always the case when I use the camera and sometimes the integrated internet explorer (Morph).
If you need me to send any logs please let me know -
@thanasis the camera crashing the device is a problem with a lot of the 7.1 ports, the morph browser crashing the device I have seen as an issue on a couple other devices, that could be related to a recent update, Im not really sure as I havent had time to do much of anything with my new job (working 14 hour days with 2 hours for commuting back and forth and I need to sleep at some point)

@tigerpro
Thank you very much for your reply.
So far I am very pleased with U.T. I definitely see it as the way forward in terms of mobile O.S. The only thing that is disturbing is the mic disfunction in Note 4.
I rarely use the camera on my phone, I don't mind charging it once per day and I think I can circumvent the internet explorer problem with a few experiments. These are minor issues and may be fixed on future updates.
As said in my other post, if I had programming skills, I would had definitely tried to assist.
Anyway thank you for all the effort you have put in the project.
P.S I feel you about the workload. -
@thanasis well when I started my port I had zero coding skills, I still consider myself to be a coding noob if Im honest, cause I dont know C at all really, through troubleshooting Ive learned a couple things, but not enough to see a log and just go "oh its this" and fix it like some of the other devs around here.

@tigerpro Hey, it's been a year now! But I'd like to follow up on this since I'm very interested in making this work on my Note 4. I guess that in a year you must have been gained a lot of coding skills, didn't you? Anyway, I'd like to ask you how did you start this porting and if there is a chance I'd like to help. Is there documentation on how to do a port? or how would I get into this? I have some Linux and C coding skills and I'd like to see if I could help make this work if that's possible.
Cheers!!

@m4l490n honestly I haven't had time to even touch the code in a year. There is documentation for making a port, just search for "ubports porting guide" and you will be able to find it. I happily accept any code contributions as long as they don't break the port.
