Nexus 4 flash hangs

I'm relaying a problem from somebody on forum xda : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73966660&postcount=6
Right now the person has his command,
sudo ubuntu-device-flash --server=http://system-image.ubports.co m touch --device=mako --channel=15.04/devel --bootstrap, hanging with an empty error message.
Any suggestion on this ?
