@hummlbach Still we got no answer from OpenWhisper. They are not really willing to cooperate with us, it seems.

@kalle-kruse : Does meet.jit.si work in your UBPorts web browser? I get the error message that this browser is not supported.

@gt It loaded on my N5, but when I typed something in the box, it went to another page which said that I needed "the Jitsi Meet mobile app to join this meeting" on my phone.

You might try appear.in, that should work on the phone for video conference calls.

Actually there IS a way: text messages are β€œSMS” in the GSM (β€œ3GSM” organization) real wording. And Apple made it compatible within Apple β€œMessages”: you can get and send your SMS if you’re connected via any other IP (Internet) way: ethernet, wifi, bluetooth, etc. Photomath TextNow Bluestacks

@lakota I'm concerned about Signal as I've seemingly had problems were the message were apparently not sent or popped up on my wife's phone hours after being sent. This was while using Android version. Has anyone noticed the same situation?

@mawil1013 Yes some people reported apparently that notifications having a hard time currently with Signal. But maybe only temporary πŸ™‚
