Hi, I'll start with the questions
I follow the project only for few weeks but it seems that you spent lot of time playing cat & mouse with upstream projects (QT, Ubuntu LTS...). How to you estimate the time spent on this versus the time to actually improve Ubuntu Touch (core apps, rootfs, new features, ports...) ?
How do you generally pick-up the next tasks and sort them as high/low priority?

According to the project management and issue tracking page for the PinePhone:
Applications running on the PinePhone use the Wayland protocol, not MirAL, to speak to Mir. Therefore, all of the issues posted in the Waylandify project on UBports' GitHub affect Ubuntu Touch on the PinePhone.
I notice that the referenced Waylandify project hasn't been updated since July 8, 2020.
Question: Do the issues posted for the Waylandify project still affect Ubuntu Touch on the PinePhone?

Unfortunately it didn’t work, so Alfred switched towards what the Sony Mainline guys are doing, especially Marijn and Konrad from AOSP. Not a lot works out of that xperiment but these are very early days. A start needs to be made with stability, then performance. CPU and GPU scaling are not implemented as yet. The Sony community's Mainline kernel is currently at 5.3 and the next target is 5.12. >

First off I'd like to thank all the developers for the hard work that they've put in to the project.
As an avid supporter of all things FOSS I'd like to say that one of the biggest problems facing wide spread use of UT is the stability on more modern devices. With that said, is there any progress on the issues facing North American users on Halium 9 devices (MMS, network connectivity...)? I for one, long for the day that I can ditch my Nexus 5 and use my Pixel 3a as a daily driver.

Q1: Canonical recently announced that Flutter will be the default choice for future Ubuntu apps.
Could this choice advantage UT?
what obstacles should be addressed before having a working and integrated flutter framework support in UT?and now I add these personal questions:
Q2: what was your first programming language you programmed with? currently what is your favorite programming language (even among those not supported by UT)?
