@arubislander It doesn't load or plays the selected podcast. It doesn't respond to taps. Now, clearing the cache like you said, solves that problem. So, whenever podbird 'hangs' i clear the cache and we're good to go.
First world problem that just arised: the artwork isn't displayed correctly. (but that's a very very minor problem imho)

You have a VollaPhone, right? When Podbird 'hangs', do you see any errors in the log? (Download log viewer app from OpenStore for convenient viewing. You might also need to
enable Developer Mode, if that is something that is possible to do on your device)

@darkeye As far as I know, the PinePhone's update cadence doesn't follow that of the Android devices. So OTA-16 hasn't been made available for the PinePhone as such.

What update channel are you on?

Not that it helps much but I can confirm Podbird 0.8.11 (27/01/21) is working fine on my OP3 latest dev update 265.

@arubislander yep i have a volla. I'll have a look at the logs, if i can find them. Going to the open store now. Thank you for the tip!
Edit: got the logviewer, but where should i start looking for errors?

@jimpson When Podbird misbehaves again, open the logviewer and see if you find anything unusual entries in the Podbird log.

Also, when your podcast fails to play, do the other controls in Podbird, tab switch, menu switches, respond?
If not, then the app is propably busy checking for new episodes in the background or such.
If it does, then double check that you have network connectivity. Podbird is very sensitive to connectivity hiccups.

@arubislander sorry for the late reply.

It seems that when podbird stops playing, other controls do work.
I almost always have network connectivity. (Either mobile of Wifi).

Today, it stopped responding again, so i cleared the cache. This time, this didn't help, so i wiped and installed again, and there it was again, like nothing ever happened.
Could it be that this was due to switching between mobile and wifi? There's this one spot in my house where wifi is dodgy, to say the least.

Beyond dodgy wifi, I am out of ideas, sorry.

@arubislander Hey @arubislander no problemo. If you could point out where or what i need to look out for in the log files, i' m good to go. I can then post the part that's needed.
                            Thanks for all the help!
