Bluetooth keyboard issue

Has anyone gotten a bluetooth keyboard to work on this? Trying the usual Zagg keyboard and it connects but it won't type. Is there a better keyboard to use?
Nerd with UT on a OnePlus One. OnePlus 6T waiting in the wings for VoLTE.

I have never heard of a Zagg keyboard so I don't know if it's usual, and in what way. I have used a Lenovo BT keyboard without issue.

Does it use BLE? If it has non-BLE connection, try to use that.
I don't have an OPO but this is just base on many experiences with BT and different UT devices. There could also be a chance it doesn't work only on specific devices. -
@totalrando - the iClever folding keyboards (both BK-05 and BK-08) have worked well with Ubuntu Touch devices in my experience.
