      Hi, new here 🙂
I am following UT for a while now and I am running it on my old Nexus 5 for testing and playing around with it. My main phone right now is a Moto G7, which I am running completely degoogled with LineageOS and MicroG. While I'm quite happy with this setup at the moment, I'd be interested in trying to port UT to it... But for this to happen and to invest my time, I'd need to know if I can use UT as a daily driver. Some of the apps I rely on heavily e.g. are keepass and a 2FA/OTP generator. On the G7 I use KeePassDX and andOTP for these. I haven't found reliable alternatives on the UT OpenStore yet however. All the keepass apps I found don't seem to work correctly. For OTP, I am looking for an app that ideally lets me import json backups from andOTP, since I have a lot of entries that I don't want having to reenter one by one - the only app I found on UT that allows to import json is "2FA Manager", but alas it doesn't seem to recognize the json format from andOTP. Does anyone know if there are good, reliable alternatives for those 2 apps? Thanks 🙂

Did the app give an error? Can you check the log? It's more useful to open an issue on the app repo project than here 🙂

Also, does andOTP export keys in plain text?
If it does, you can import those in 2FA Manager

Even better, if you know the format of the exported json open an issue here

Just the scheme would be needed (careful not to share personal info nor keys)

Hi @cibersheep, thanks for your reply!

As for the keepass apps, I didn't think about looking for logfiles yet indeed... Will do that and try to post on the repo projects if I find any issue.

As for andOTP, yes it does export in several format, encrypted, unencrypted and plain text json. Again, I'll see on the project repo, you are absolutely right that those would be better places for specific apps, sorry about that. I guess my point was more to see if anyone maybe had working app alternatives that I may not be aware of. I am not sure, but I guess that the OpenStore is the only place where to get apps? In that case I probably already have seen the available apps for my needs then. Anyway, will keep digging, and as I said, I'd really be interested in using UT as a daily driver and possibly trying to port it to the G7, if I sort out these issues 🙂
