Vibrator not working properly
-
The vibrator actor has a weird behaviour. In the most apps it vibrates once after startup without respect of the sound settings. It also seems WayDroid to make the startup stuck.

For issues linked to WayDroid please open an issue on their git repository.
For us here to help it's best to keep a standard configuration so people can reproduce/confirm the issue.
Impacts from WayDroid are not known and should be reported to their developer to improve it. -
It looks like that the issue is not caused by but effects WayDroid.

@nfsprodriver
It is hard to identify the cause, that's why having an identified system image on a know hardware is helpful to differentiate what comes from the device, from UT or from the apps.
Vibration is supposed to work on your device.Is anyone able to confirm this issue without WayDroid ?

Well, it's difficult to describe. I have disabled additional vibrations in the sound settings. But about in every app, there's one vibration per session after I tap on a UI element. My thinking is that this behaviour is related to the missdetection in WayDroid.
I'll try to collect some helpful logs these days to find out, where the issue has its origin.
But yes, the vibration actor itself works and is basically interacting with UT.
Anyone else can confirm my described behaviour? -
I'm on a different device so I'm not sure how relevant this is, but there are a few settings for vibration on my device.
In 'Sound', in the sub heading 'Phone calls:' there are settings for 'Vibrate on ring' and 'Vibrate in Silent Mode', in the sub heading 'Messages:' there are settings for 'Vibrate with message sound' and 'Vibrate in Silent Mode', and in the sub heading 'Other sounds:' there is a setting for 'Other vibrations'.
Also in 'Language & Text' down the bottom there is a 'Keyboard vibration' setting.
I was getting the odd unwarranted buzz here and there until I turned off the 'Other vibrations' and 'Keyboard vibration' settings.
