Dual SIM functionality

I am planning to buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and put in two SIM cards. On UT devices page there is no mention about dual SIM functionality. Does that mean that two SIM cards is not possible to use at the same time? Or this feature is not yet implemented on this phone because it uses a hybrid slot for the cards (2 SIMs or 1 SIM + microSD card)?

I use the Xiaomi as a daily mobile, the dual sim works perfectly, data works one of the sim, you choose which of the two sim, it is a perfect mobile,
At the moment the video recording in the main camera and the bluetooth in the calls does not work.

@josele13 Thank you for your answer, just one more thing: Is it slot dependent for card to be for example in slot 2 to make calls (on Oneplus 6/6T it is) or it doesn't matter? And both SIMs can receive and send messages? Can't wait to try Ubuntu Touch on this device!

@jakub Both slots work equally, calls and messages, but data to connect to the internet is done by one SIM, you can choose which one from the settings.
