I am on vacation right now, so I will answer in more detail next week.

GPS should work. Just stay outside with a navigatiin app running, until a first fix is found and avoid the phone going to sleep.

Video recording is known to not work. But maybe there is a fix. I just need some time to do a new build.

Meanwhile WayDroid (Anbox) is working on Halium 10. But it needs also a new build with latest updates.

Libtertine did work for me in the past, but I did not give it a try on the latest builds, I will test it.

Regarding new functions for system apps (Morph Browser), the most common reply is, that someone just needs to step up and do it, and that the ubports team currently has not the manpower to develop new features. I would advice you to browse the github or gitlab repositories of ubports and search the issues, if someone mentioned your demanded feature already.

What do you mean with 'NOK', regarding the openstore apps?

@cr9c video recording should be fixed, just download the latest build and reflash the system image.

It is as always: some apps work, some not

Firefox needs a special version, which is not in the repository, you can find infos here at the forum.
But it is not fun to use it with a small touch screen.

I did a test with "entangle" a dslr camera tethering application:

works, as you can see...

If you found an app that works for, you may find the app Libertine Tweak Tool in the OpenStore, which is useful to adjust dpi of libertine apps, so the buttons and stuff gets a bit bigger.

regarding Firefox it was only a test .. the default browser on UBTouch is OK ... except the fact it's not possible to record ID + PWD to avoid to always add them for some site (for instance since ConverseJS or Movim or Webchat Jabber.de don't work, I've to connect on my jabber server through the browser and it doesn't keep ID !).

First GPS fix after a cold boot takes long, and be sure to do it in wide open space under direct sky, it's not device specific, it's because there is no A-GPS on uTouch.

Yes, the link represents always the latest build.
And no, flashing system image will not erase configuration (if you did not make rootfs writeable and did some hacky stuff) and you do not have to reinstall anything.

InstantPho has some issues for me but starts and I am able to load an image, but then the image is not shown on editing... I don't think its device specific.
Both Keeweb apps work for me...

You could try to install the Logviewer and watch the applogs.
Perhaps open a new thread in the forum to discuss this specific issue.

Yes, I also encountered that Dekko notifications are "lazy" somehow. in the last time.. I also think that this is not device specific. Perhaps something changed in the energy-management which prevents some services to wakre up from sleep... I don't know.

Yes it's a general issue related to uTouch QT migrated to 5.12.

@cr9c regarding OpenStore Apps:

It seems that some webapps are using old webengine libraries. Today I wanted to use the HandyTicket web app and it crashed immediately on start.

The log says something about Oxide, which is not supported anymore, actually since a year or something...
(When I think about it, I believe I did a rebuild in the past of that app :face_with_raised_eyebrow: )

ConverseJS works, at least it starts.

Aïe aïe aïe ... I did flash system.img but now impossible to reboot !
First screen is "Fairphone .. Powered by android" then message saying boot is unlocked ... and again "Fairphone .. Powered by android" and it's happen nothing more !!!!

Have you any idea at this point ?

I flash previous released which were OK (I've kept it) and it's OK again.

For info, since flash of previous system.img .. it's quite strange because "Gallery" app and "Weather app" app don't work any more.
They crash as soon they're launched !?

@cr9c you could try to clear cache of that apps with the UT Tweak Tool. As we are using the devel channel for the builds, things may change from one to another build...

Hi @Luksus ... I did try it and no effects. I also remove apps and reboot but nothing to do !? and the pb comes only with these 2 apps .

Did you use the ubports-installer in the meantime? (I hope not, because it is not recommended for FP3+ users, if you did, it would be needed to reflash the android 10 vendor partition)

The build with this link is Not OK as I detailed above and I don't know why since I followed the same procedure as you gave and I use the first time with the previous build.
No I don't use UB port installer, I use "fastboot"

... and the pb comes only with these 2 app ...

I meant everything is OK with your previous build I've kept and also all apps I kept, except with the two apps I gave.
