bluetooth 5.0 not working

I have a pair of rowkins wireless 5.0 earbuds that connect but get no audio, im curious of what others have had success using as I would like to purchase a set that works.
I do have a bluetooth speaker that works perfect but I dont know what BT version it is

Bluetooth uses certain codecs for audio so are you sure both devices support them ?!
