        I'm using the latest installer with the config from the thread above. I get into recovery just fine but the installer seems to be taking a very long time "Mounting partitions..." and "Preparing system image".

        Is it typical to take this long? It's been almost 20 minutes. I just flashed the latest 9.0 system image from google on my taimen and ran the installer.

          @the_nightman Try wiping data via the installer, or TWRP, and re-installing with the installer

            @the_nightman I have a Pixel 2 XL I just installed on Sunday. I had to remove the USB cable and try a different USB port on my computer to get this to work. I tried installing a few times, but it kept hanging up in the same place as your install. I tried a different cable and I found out soon that the cable I started with was more compatible. Just to try it, I moved USB ports on my PC and it worked.
