Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro
-
Hi everybody,
I'm new to Ubuntu touch and I like to ask something confuse me in regards of the above mentioned device. As I saw at xda there different versions with same type name Redmi note 9 pro.
Indian and international version. There are slightly differences but not major ones.
So, my question ist if that does it matters for the installation of Ubuntu or not?
Please excuse my noob question.
A brief feedback is highly appreciated. -
https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/ mentions the following models :
- https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/device/joyeuse/
- https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/device/merlin/
So as long as the Redmi Note 9 Pro codename matches one of the above and your base is the latest required Android Stock ROM before you flash Ubuntu Touch you should be good to go!

The whole EEA/Global/India story only applies when you are flashing Stock ROM's as far as I know ?!
