Failure to connect to network

For a few weeks, possibly since last update though that is not certain, my phone often fails to automatically connect to my router at home. It shows my network connection and that of my neighbour in the network list, but will not connect until I tap my network name, whereupon the indicator becomes green and a connection is made. Until this problem arose connection was always immediate automatic and reliable. Can anybody suggest a solution?
I run OTA-20 stable on a Nexus 5.

@cliffcoggin Change to the developer channel and run an update. That worked for me.

@mrt10001 If there is a fix coming I am content to wait for it to arrive in the stable updates. My last experience of changing from Development to Stable is not something I care to repeat.

The developers are testing an update - link to blog , so it may be resolved.
