Maybe a idee to add back ground nusic option for browser or something? Love to listen lets say onlne radio but when i turn off ny screen for savety and battery purposses it kills the audio... Well that doesnt count for the radio nl app with all dutch radios
I use these websites to find the streams for radio stations which I like listening to via MPD or Mopidy on a Raspberry Pi 3B connected to a old stereo tower :
Maybe you can do something similar with the Ubuntu Touch Music Player ?!

Hello,
I'm using 2021-W51/2 on a FP3 and I discovered two issues:
-
Screen switches on/off during a call and continue even when the call is terminated, as if the proximity sensor had a problem.
To explain more, I called someone and when I wanted to hang up the screen switched on, off, on etc. The other people hanged up, the screen continued to switch on/off, and I had to reboot to fix it.
I don't know whether it worked on OTA-20 since I installed in on yesterday, but it worked on Android so it's probably not the sensor. -
Notifications don't clear. To explain, if I receive a message I have a notification at the top of the screen. I open the application, read and respond to the message, but the notification is still there at the top until I manually clean it. Tested with TELEports, if it helps.
It worked on OTA-20.
Except these two issues it works well. Thanks for you work!

Generic CALDAV? with Nexus 5
I am using a local CALDAV server with Ubuntu Mate (radicale server) and cannot sync my calendars. Radicale works as it should. I have been using my own calendar server successfully with all devices for years.
What I do....
I add an internet calendar and select Generic CALDAV. After entering the local address ("192.168.x.x: 5232/username/") my 4 calendars and 1 address book are found and displayed. All 4 calendars are marked for viewing.
Furthermore, the account has been set up, seen and activated in the settings (com.ubuntu.calendar/calendar).The synchronization can be started manually and seems to be doing something, but there are no appointments to be seen in the calendars. I was hoping that CALDAV would now work with this release candidate. Is there a log file that I can view and where can I find it?
If someone has a similar problem, I would be grateful for advice.

@4carlos Hello 4carlos. I am running a radicale Server on my Freedombox and have the same Problem. I can see my Calendar in the Settings but nothing appears in the Calender. I followed a Tuturial on the UBports Documentation App (CalDav and CardDav syncing) but this script did not work either. Maybe it works for you? Take a look on it. I am using a Volla Phone...

@4carlos Don't see any mention of CalDev in the blog https://ubports.com/blog/ubports-news-1/post/ubuntu-touch-ota-21-call-for-testing-3796 maybe check the OTA-21 issue tracker as well. If not then your issue might not be related to anything in this release.

Guys I am sorry but this post should only be used to report
a) problems with the changes that were done with OTA-21 according to the project columns "Done" or "QA" in https://github.com/orgs/ubports/projects/31
b) Any regressions that appeared betwenn OTA-20 and OTA-21 -
Sorry, this is a misunderstanding on my part.
I saw
"Google accounts have been fixed and can now set up again properly",
.... "And a few bugs and common issues have been fixed, too."and was of the opinion that something was fixed with the online accounts. That's why I tried "Generic CALDAV" again after a long time. I was pleased to see that this feature no longer crashes like it did in previous versions. However, appointments are still not synchronized.
@Mikaelb, I know the script solution and have used it for several months.
But, it no longer works for me with the OTA-21 RC.
In the terminal I start as part of a bash script :
/usr/bin/syncevolution kalender
and get errors with OTA-21 now. That's new! At the moment the calendars cannot be used.
The system message is
status = 20010
error = error code from SyncEvolution error parsing config file (local, status 20010): kalender: backend not supported by any of the backend modules (syncxmlrpc, syncsqlite, syncqtcontacts, syncmaemocal, synckcalextended, syncfile, syncecal, syncebook, syncdav, syncactivesync , platformgnome) or not correctly configured (backend! 3dselect backend databaseFormat! 3d syncFormat! 3d)

end = 1641012600, 2022-01-01 05:50:00 +0100Edit :
Status 20010 could be : 20010 Error parsing XML config file -
Current RC does not boot all the way on Suzu (Xperia X). The screen either remains almost-black (but on) or shows the Sony splash screen.
It will boot normally on Devel and Stable. -
