Hi since I am an inclusive porter πŸ˜„

Could someone please try to confirm the following missing things (mention on which of both devices you did the test):
        b5e3635d-4db7-4d5c-a15b-9a357ff03054-grafik.png
        f433e76a-99b2-4453-b2cb-6dff826d03c6-grafik.png
        f754be4b-1a6d-4696-816a-dd7d786f20f1-grafik.png

        When I tested last time:
Bluetooth was not coming to life after a reboot sometimes
Microphone recording volume was very low

The stability for 7 days is almost for sure ok, but how is battery life nowadays?

My Pixel 2 has gone from 98% battery at 08:00 this morning to 26% battery at 18:16. I cannot account for battery wear as the phone was procured as used. If I could bench it against a new one or one with a new battery, I may get more accurate results. I have left the phone alone at this stage.

Yeah we would need an Android bench against UT on the same device maybe...

@flohack My bluetooth sometimes does not turn on after start. A reboot usually fixes it. With airplane mode on, phone lasts several days on a charge. With modem on, it lasts a day if just left sitting there. Less if used. So, not 24hrs if used normally throughout the day. It can run a week without reboot. I usually just leave it on since something is still wrong with shutdown. It still hangs without actually shutting down.

Wondering what Alfred did to make the P3a run so well. Maybe you can compare notes?

Retested microphone on P2XL. It sounds fine on Jan 25 Dev build in calls and webapp. A little quiet in the UT recording app for some reason. But loud and clear in Waydroid.

Thanks for fixing that (audio/video in webapp). I can now recommend it as a stop gap for the coming VoLTE problem

That sounds like a battery drain issue for sure!

The battery of the phone would have to really really REALLY BAD to perform like that! πŸ˜•

I stand corrected. Power off button is properly shutting down.

I've recently got UB installed on my old Google Pixel 2.

So far WiFi is working flawlessly, I've not tested Bluetooth out but it does boot with it turned on.

                        Regarding battery life:
This phone is just over 4 years old now so its battery is really on its last legs, I'm trying to decide whether to muster the courage to replace the battery or not.

On Android 11 I'm able to manage about a work day on it, so about 8 hours of occasional use.

On UB I'm seeing about half of that, though I've been using it a bit more lately than I'd have used Android, though I do have a lot of apps in the background when using Android.

I'm estimating that with UB I'm probably getting just over half the amount of battery, though I don't know if this is the battery degrading fast or not.

Other than that, pretty good. A few applications don't run when installed via Libertine but I'm chalking that up to other issues. All other applications that came stock with the install work fine.

                        Hope this feedback helps!

@majesticfudgie Pixel phones are annoyingly difficult to replace the battery without damaging the screen. If you do decide to change the battery, be prepared to change the screen.

@mrt10001 Instead I replaced the phone! With the Google Pixel 2 XL. Now I have both models to test and play with, though I can't test battery life with the Pixel 2 as its so bad. So far the 2 XL (used) is already looking good.

I'll feedback when I have a definitive answer and hopefully more answers regarding stability, I'll be using it at my work phone so I'll have to keep it charged and ready to go daily.

Heating the glue with a heatgun helps remove the battery without breaking the screen. Just don't heat the screen itself. It is likely it will break anyway. Google really doesn't mean for you to replace the battery.

Oneplus is just the opposite. Very easy to replace the screen.

@rocket2nfinity Removing the battery is the easy bit, having to remove the screen to get to the battery is the difficult bit. The screen has no supporting lip so all it, is is thin glass on the edges. One wrong move and the screen cracks. You are right, they don't want you to replace the battery. Oneplus, Xiaomi, iPhones are a lot easier. I just wish they were all as easy as the Nexus 4 and 5.:beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

                                    Hi
I'm running rc on the Pixel2XL. Battery is allright with moderate use en wifi on it lasts me a hole day. Just lying around even longer and in flightmode longer still. I havent tested how long though.
Shutting down works since beginning of January. And stability is fine.
Buetooth is not reliably there but I still can conect to remembered hardware even if the bluetooth button doesn't work. Usualy when I do a restart bluetooth is OK.
One feature I miss i the eSIM and maybe sound over USB-C

@tobsend eSIM unfortunately will not land anytime soon. Its a proprietary implementation detail of every vendor, so its hard to write a middleware for it that does the same thing in UT. Same with VoLTE - if only things would be open and documented.

audio over USB is not that hard to do maybe, but a) needs proper kernel modules/drivers (if you can find out which one your device loads we can check this as a start. b) our pulseaudio is probably not set up to interface with a USB device at all. That needs more research how this could be done.

I now have another Pixel 2 (camera app crash issue). I have installed Android 9 (PQ3A.190801.002) on it and it is a clean install, nothing added.
I have charged both pixel 2's (the other running UT OTA-21 Stable) to 100% and put them on the side running on standby.
Both devices are well used so I assume battery life won't be great.

So far the UT Pixel 2 has dropped from 100% to 37% in 4 hours,
The Android 9 pixel 2 is on 84% after 4 hours.

                                              I will continue testing.........
