TB-x605F keyboard case (with trackpad)
-
Hello all,
Just received my Lenovo M10 x605f and been enjoying Ubuntu Touch on it! Its been a long journey (pinephone, OnePlus1, OnePlus6, Pinetab) but i think i have finally found my UT device.
- Side note - not sure if I was just not doing the setup correctly at the time, but i ended up using the .0.9.1-beta Ubports installer to get the Devel version of Ubuntu Touch working on this tablet.
Main question that I wanted to ask is - is there a Bluetooth Keyboard (with trackpad) and case that is similar to the PineTab keyboard + case that would work with this tablet. I searched a bit and there are some, but mainly for the x606 tablets.
I see that there are pins at the bottom of this tablet, but i want to say its for the sound/audio dock that is available. There are keyboard cases out there but im looking for one that also has the trackpad. There are generic ones but i would like to have one that "locks" the tablet in place rather than straps or notches that hold the tablet in place.
Does anyone have any idea if there is one out there for this tablet?

@codenul What I can say is, that the pins at the bottom work for charging the battery (even if the battery indicator does not display the charging state).
I am not sure, if the pins also transmit any data, when Ubuntu Touch is used.If I watch the dmesg output, while (un-)docking, I see messages like "pogo pin connected".
There are "Pogo pin Keyboards".
I think one just needs to try, if that works. If not, a bluetooth connected keyboard would be an alternative.

I have been researching into this. The M10 tablets have paired Pogo pins which are for charging only so they charge through a dock or the speaker doc. There looks like no signal transfer for a keyboard and/or mouse. It will also switch off that port if you plug in a USB cable to the device, likewise OTG hasn't worked for me when on the dock!.
I now have a laptop style USB bluetooth keyboard and trackpad to test out with this.
