@pe3noATo2DOTpl I've had issues to login in google play too. I just use the Aurora Store from FDroid instead. Maybe that works for you too.

I have been researching into this. The M10 tablets have paired Pogo pins which are for charging only so they charge through a dock or the speaker doc. There looks like no signal transfer for a keyboard and/or mouse. It will also switch off that port if you plug in a USB cable to the device, likewise OTG hasn't worked for me when on the dock!. I now have a laptop style USB bluetooth keyboard and trackpad to test out with this.

Update to r89. Tablets won't boot after update without a lot of switching off and on again. Edit: I might be getting some where to get a reboot to get off the Lenovo screen. Power off the device and leave it for a few minutes. Hold the volume up button and power on - release the power button when the Lenovo splash screen appears - not before and count to about 5 and release the volume up. So far this has worked more often than not.

@Luksus Well that was painless apart from me forgetting I was on my Win11 machine and have to put ./ in front of the fastboot command.. Kept all my data too - bonus!

@Luksus the difference in batteries is where they are made and i think that this is where the problem lies.

@MrT10001 thanks dont have windows and not dont have a working laptop for gimp.i think the battery problem lies with the battery and where it is made having seen a photo of a battery on a similar thread, might be worth checking the tablets that have this problem and see where they are made.

@Luksus No, I have three tablets set up doing basically nothing Two are constantly on the charger and reboot most often. The third (my main one for doing things on) is taken on and off charger and rarely reboots. I don't let the battery run flat on all three if I can - however, if it does, I charge for a day and they now generally fire up OK, unless, I have left them too long with no charge, then it is hoop jumping to get the tablets booting. I heated my whole "computer room" up with a fan heater and placed one tablet on the charger about 6ft from the fan heater and it rebooted. When I say reboot, it boots to the Lenovo splash screen, not into UT

I'm currently running the boot.img from 16.04 ("xenial") OTA 25 (the last one) and the ubuntu.img #966308062 from https://gitlab.com/ubports/porting/community-ports/android9/lenovo-tab-m10-fhd/lenovo-x605/-/pipelines. Both my 4-GB and my 2-GB devices are restarting reliably with this combination of images. In the rare case they don't I use MrT10001's above trick #4. However I just found the above ubuntu.img no more available. Maybe the latest (#1013489143) will do as well. Anyway, booting this device remains a mystery... :face_with_raised_eyebrow: But once it's up it's a great device!
