USSD error with Pixel 3a XL

Hello everyone. So I started using UT with the pixel 3a XL, and Im really pleased with it, however, after inserting a sim I realized that the main USSD code for my U.A.E based carrier doesnt work (its called "du"). I insert the code that is *135#, get a dialogue, select my option, dialogue dissapears, wait for 20 secs of processing, then an error message drops saying "invalid USSD code". after couple of seconds, I get an empty message. I really need USSD to work, as my carrier relies heavily on it. Anyway, I will be away for couple of weeks so excuse me if I dont reply. Bellow is everything I can provide for now. Keep in mind that sms/mms, and phone calls work, although I didn't test mobile data.
