Changes/Fixes/Improvements?
-
I noticed a new feature using Bluetooth headset listening to Music app.
I have never been able to pause, or skip ahead by a button press on the headset, but now it works, which is great. I have always had to open the app and stop/play skip with the touch screen.
I am running RC 2022-w39 on OP6T.
My question is this, is there a place that lists the changes with each update?

@mw4jet Bluetooth stack has been updated for the next stable OTA update and that's probably that. Changelogs are only available once the stable OTA update it released as it is only manually created. If you want you can check merged PRs/MRs in Github\Gitlab but therr are literally hundreds of repos

You should also be able do that from the indicators bar

@mw4jet yes you can search for changes in github or gitlab for what have been merged.
When you're on github, the ubports homepage is sorted with last updated repo first.
In gitlab, you can go to https://gitlab.com/groups/ubports/development/core/-/activity.
But note that Focal activity is displayed with xenial ones.Otherwise overview with github OTA project board: https://github.com/orgs/ubports/projects/35

@kugiigi (edit: replied to wrong person, sorry)I am not familiar what the indicators bar is or where to find it.
I like to carry in my pocket, (I had the screen coming on in my pocket issue) I have since changed to RC channel and that hasn't happened yet, but my point is that I can pause, skip to next track by interacting with the talk/stop/play/pause button on my headset! That has been a long awaited improvement. I use hands free almost 8-10 hours a day at work, people walk up and began talking so being able to pause with a button press is great for me.

At the top of your screen.

@moem Thanks, that should have been obvious, seeing as I must handle the device, I missed it. Basically to me, that's same as opening the app as I must clean my hands, handle the device.
Regardless, a must have has been implemented for me!
