OTA-24 issues (Lenovo TB-X650L)......
-
After installing OTA-24 on my Lenovo TAB, after it reboots, shut the device down. Wait and then start it up.
The battery was plugged in and charging after the install (I unplugged it from the power during the update as per previous posts and it was already at 100%), the indicator showed green, but was actually discharging the battery very rapidly, 40% in about an hour.
Shutting it down, waiting a few minutes and starting it back up (power cord disconnected), then putting the charger back in seems to have resolved the issue.
I don't know if any one else has suffered this issue on any device, but a near similar thing on a Nexus 4 as well. This may help to resolve!

No help from me but I encountered a similar problem on my Nexus 5.
Battery level was going down even when connected to the charger.
Rebooting helped, but still the phone dies after four hours without charging. It lasted much longer before the update.
So far it seems there is an 'upstart' process running at 30% CPU all the time. -
It would be interesting, which cpu-process exactly is draining the battery.
In similar scenarios in the past, I encountered blueman (even if bluetooth was turned off) and ofonod (after disconnectig bt -headset after a call).

How can I determine this?

@bodow use
top
in terminal and watch the process, which takes continuously more than 80%?
