Issues after install:

Did another reboot and the sound goes off.
Looks like file permissions are a bit off. I cannot put a photo onto the photo folder. -
After hard reboots, still no sound.

I created a new zip with latest rootfs (ota 22) and rebuild android image ..auto brightness is now working
Still nothing regarding the permission issue and sound woking only at random boots...

hello thanks for the port but i have a problem i dont understand the part where i must insert the passphrase what exactly must i put there

@kidzwai Normally during the setup of Ubuntu Touch you are asked to entre a passphrase. If you are doing the install click next and follow the instructions. If after install it is whatever you picked during the install process.

@lakotaubp finally got it i was not the one who ported to kenzo the OP he wrote the passphrase he just failed to insert quotation marks when he typed the password he said the passphrase is a what he should have said its the letter "a"
The issue was for the Xiaomi redmi note 3
