        Reference:
        https://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/porting/build_and_boot/index.html

        Exposition:
I don't understand the difference between "Full system image method", the "Halium-boot method", or the "Standalone kernel method".

I've read each one a couple of times, but I cannot really understand why one would be chosen over another.

It seems to be that if I could find my devices in the LineageOS list, then I would choose the Full system image method, but since they are not there, I should choose the Standalone kernel method. This is my current understanding.

        Hardware:

        • Samsung Galaxy A01
        • Nokia 2 V Tella
        • Motorola Moto e6

For the record, I do believe that my plan is to use Halium 9.0 for all three of my phone port attempts.

        Question:
Does anyone have any general rule of thumb when choosing one of these three methods?

        Edit:
I bet I'll find clues deeper in the Halium guide.

Porting a device so that it's 100% usable under UT is a long road, so maybe you should first choose one of those 3 device and focus on it to port.

          2015-2023 : Meizu MX4 ☠️⚰️✝️
          2023-2024 : Nexus 5 ☠️⚰️✝️
2024-***** : FPOS Fairphone 5 waiting UT for freedom 😉

I believe you. I don't think I'll be working on all 3 concurrently, but I am currently gathering data for all 3.

There will likely be a point where I break off and focus on one specifically.
