UBports 20.04 for PinePhone?
-
I know UBports 20.04 hasn't been officially released yet, but I'd like to start testing pre-release images of it on my PinePhone. Are there pre-built images anywhere I can download for it? I checked the official installer and the Devices page, but couldn't find any information on beta testing pre-release versions for this device.

@newguy There are no images for PinePhone iirc there was some talk of work having started on the Pro version but not really sure on what stage it is at.

@lakotaubp Thank you. I'll keep running 16.04 on the PinePhone for now.

Not an official port, but it seems like someone is working it for both the Pinephone and Pinephone Pro.

I'm currently testing it on my Pro and a lot of things are working, some still are not.

Just to point out you will need Tow-Boot installed to run 20.04 on PP and PPP https://tow-boot.org/devices/pine64-pinephoneA64.html though must admit I need to read the instructions a few more times to understand them.
For instancedd if=mmcboot.installer.img of=/dev/XXX bs=1M oflag=direct,sync status=progress
the XXX in the above is that as is or should a specific version code be add here. Something to look at over the weekend on the PP.
