Online charging is not working in Xiaomi Redmi note 7 pro

We have installed the ubuntu touch OS in our Redmi note 7 pro mobile. Although it's working well ,the online charging is not supported.

What are you calling "online charging"?In the device page this refers to be able to charge with the device being "on".
The offline charging being unavailable for your device I wonder how you charge it?
When plugging a charger to the USB port you should be able to see in the notification bar the confirmation that it's effectively charging.
Can you tell us more?

@applee I don't know how offline charging is working in our device but we can't able to charge when the device is on.

It is supposed to work. Maybe it is a hardware issue with your device.
