        Hello everybody,

long time ago I installed Ubuntu Touch in my Jinpad A1. After an OTA-Update ist stuck in a bootloop and I didn't manage to fix it. Now with Ubuntu Touch Focal I want to give it again a try.

I try to reinstall Ubuntu-Touch with the ubports-installer in Linux, but it doesn't find the Jingpad. It seems the Jingpad is not detected in USB.

        Can anyone help me?

@Suleiman Same for me. I just select the Jingpad manually and all works fine. Cheers

@DenMoore I tried this too. For my first installation this was the way it worked. This time it doesn't.

I booted the Jingpad into fastboot.
Then I started the ubports-installer and selected the Jingpad manually.
Then I connected the Jingpad via USB to the computer.
            "Waiting for device". Nothing happened.

The Jingpad wasn't even detected via lsusb.

@Suleiman Today the installation worked fine. Maybe it's because I used another USB-cable, or because I unchecked "Wipe Userdata" and "Bootstrap" in the Installation options.

I'm so happy. Now I hope the Jingpad can work as an everyday device.
