Keyboard vibration always on

Recently installed UT on a Oneplus 6T. Somewhat annoyingly, the keyboard always vibrates. Turning off vibrations in Settings has no effect at all.

@ancientsounds This bug is irrespective of the sliding switch on the side of the device

Settings > Language & Text > Keyboard vibration? -
