Bluetooth Mouse not working on Focal

I have installed Ubuntu Touch OTA-3(20.04) on my google pixel 3a xl and want to use the phone over an external display. For this, I've connected a lenovo bluetooth mouse but the mouse icon does not show up on the phone or on the external display. Is this issue specific to pixel 3a or is it a known issue? is there any fix for this issue?Thanks in advance.
