Trouble installing snap / oneplus one

The error message is W: Not using locking for read only lock file /var/lib/dpkg/lock
E: unable to write to /var/cashe/apt/
E: The package lists are status file could not be parsed or opened.I am using a oneplus one

Hi @fred. Snaps don't work on UT... yet. Perhaps they will after the OS has been updated to run on 16.04.

I've installed UbTouch OS on my OnePlus 5T but multiple apps including Instagram Alpha and Twitter are simply loading a blank screen on start up and gradually crashing itself. Any idea how to get it working?
Update: Upon I've uninstalled and reinstalled the apps they have been running just fine once again! : )

@fred Yes there is work going on for Oneplus 5 but still not ready to use. Lets bring 16.04 to a good state, this is much more important than new devices, sorry to say
