Redmi Note 9 Pro (global) no wireless display option?
-
I installed stable branch 20.04 Ubuntu Touch on my Note 9 Pro, I wanted to try connecting to a wireless display, however I don't see the option to do so anywhere, even though it's supported according to the device page

@Anonfishe hello
Excuse me for the late response, the wireless display option is available only on the devel channel. If you wish to try it I would suggest to switch to it. -
What do you mean by the wireless display? Is it not the one where you can see all WLAN connections? I would also like to point out that the RMN9P only works up to channel 11 in 2.4 GHz. Everything above that does not work, at least I have always had this with the TP Link AC1200 C50 older model in white. With 5Gigaherz WLAN connection without dual mode 2.4 and 5Wlan together it works better. Whereby channel 13 does not work

Wireless Display is the option to have the device cast a desktop interface to a monitor or other device via Miracast.

I actually have no idea at the moment whether the device has this. If only via adapter and USB C cable. If you need a monitor, I don't think it works via Bluetooth or WLAN. I thought WiFi was meant without a monitor.

@DPITTI The porter already mentioned that it is available on the devel channel.

Yes miatoll support wireless display on the devel channel as I pointed out in my first replay. This feature was implemented about month ago on the focal port. It is also available on the xenial port from long time.
