        Hello All,

I'm looking for some help. I'm trying to install UBTouch to my Samsung S7.
Now I'm running Lineage OS 20 with unlocked bootloader, magisk root and TWRP as well.
UBinstaller just do nothing when the phone is in download mode. I tested on windows 10 machine and on linux ubuntu machine with hamidal installed as guides say.
So far I've tried following starting point for the UBInstaller:

        1. LineageOS 20, TWRP with root - when the phone is in download mode - do nothing and receives a error.
2.LineaageOS 18.1, TWRP with root - when the phone is in download mode - do nothing and receives a error.
3.Flash stock Oreo 8.0 with ODIN > developers option > OEM Unlocked - ON (it was in that state after first boot) > USB debbuging - ON, > Flash TWRP with ODIN > UBinstaller - do nothing and receives a error.

I've tested multiple combination to start UBinstaller - and there is no difference. ADB working fine, but fastboot with hamidal seems - not.

        Please give me some advice!
        Thank you i advance!

@krasid You have to put it on a specific version of Android to install UT. Basically put it back to stock, non root, then run the installer.

@krasid My bad. Heimdall drivers is the issue. I could never get them to work in Windows properly, so I use Linux to flash UT onto the Samsung phones and it hasn't let me down.

I have however always had the phones on stock ROM, usually the latest version for that phone.

                    FINALLY made it!

                    And the problem it self:
I use Ubuntu ot VM and so the option by default of USB was : USB 2.0 ( OHCI+EHCI) Controler.
but my hub is connected to USB 3.0. So I have changed it to USB 3.0 (xHCI) Controler, and the mirracle happend 🙂
                    The instalation procesed fluently.

Probably this should be mention into the manual or some kind of troubleshooting.

Thnaks MrT1001 for you support, and to UBports of course!
