So I just got apks working with Waydroid and everything runs great. I see the android container is running lineageos which doesnt have gaps compatibility. Any way to get GAPS to work on UT?

@inrk There's an option to install an inage with GAPPS. If you use Waydroid Helper, there's a google icon at the top right in the install page.

I also used https://microg.org/ - to trick other apps into thinking that I have google aps installed.

For the record, it's possible to select a GAPPS compatible ROM within waydroid, using the following command:
                sudo waydroid init -s GAPPS

At least in my experience though, even though theoretically it comes with Google Play Services and the Play Store, Strava wouldn't work.
I believe it might have something to do with Google Play Certification, see here -> https://docs.waydro.id/faq/google-play-certification
