Update to r26 today. No boot, stuck at Lenovo screen.

Boot recovery, mount system and reboot. No joy.

Power off, then power button and Volume up, boots into UT, all lovely!

        OK...

On another tablet, it failed to boot properly. To solve:

Power off the tablet and wait 20+ seconds to ensure it is off and doesn't reboot.
Then boot to recovery (hold Volume Up+Volume Down and power. When it vibrates and powers on, release the power button, but keep both volume up and volume down pressed until it gets to recovery)
In recovery, go to Advanced and Mount the system.
        Then reboot to recovery.
        Then reboot
        Voila, booted into UT....:beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

@arubislander It is! I have 5 of these tablets 2 on Xenial and 2 on Focal. It is a pig to boot up on both, but with a bit of messing it gets there. Once in UT, it just works (apart from the cameras on Focal). I have at some time got to get boot logs to see what's stopping boot after power off, battery running out or a reboot.

Updated to r65 today. All went well.

Advice, make sure it is charged up and remove the power or take it off dock when updating.

Updated to r71 today. No reboot after install. Had to boot into Recovery, Mount system, Reboot to Recovery, Power off, leave for 5 minutes, Boot into Recovery and Reboot to get UT up and going.

                      Update today to r76.

Oddly one tablet failed to boot properly.

                      The other tablet booted fine.

Both tablets identical with identical apps and battery on 100%.

Third tablet didn't boot after the first reboot. Workaround (done twice) is power off the device. Leave it a minute, power back on. All is good.

                          Updated today to r85.

Again one tablet rebooted perfectly, one didn't.

The one that didn't I had to reinstall using the installer.

If the tablet fails to boot after an install, leave it for about 20 minutes and try again. Overheating may be an issue, However it was picked up by the PC after about 30 seconds into boot.

                            Update to r89.

Tablets won't boot after update without a lot of switching off and on again.

                            Edit:

I might be getting some where to get a reboot to get off the Lenovo screen.

Power off the device and leave it for a few minutes.

Hold the volume up button and power on - release the power button when the Lenovo splash screen appears - not before and count to about 5 and release the volume up.

So far this has worked more often than not.
