UBPort installer 1.0 fails on Win 11 (Does not reach servers), on Mint (appimage) does not recognize device

I have recovered (flashed) the device twice now using my Win11, directly from the google site, to the 9 version required for pixel3a to start from.

However..-When trying the UBPort installer, it fails to connect to the servers, though I have disabled the defender firewall, and using only the original AV (also defender).

I took the same cable and used it twice on my Linux Mint, and it reaches the servers, but its ADB does not recognize the device, and gets into an endless loop, trying to find it.

-Any help on how to proceed will be greatly appreciated.

@ItDepends It is working for me fine today on Win 11 (I think you mean installer version 0.10.0 - version 1.0 will definitely not work now).

You have unlocked the bootloader on the device?

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...
          I have too many devices...

honestly with xaiomi devices i find it just easier to fastboot flash <partition> filename.img ....its a pain but at the end of the day its just easier ...so on your pixel it would prob be easier to do the same ...also it sounds like your android-tools install is either old version or borked
