the logs concerning calendar app, but first precise what you mean by "not working", does it launch then crashed or not at all, see only the splash screen, etc...
-
the app calendar doesn't want to be installed.
wen I clic on install in openstore... it's doing something and 3 or 4 s later, I still have button install available... no open -
I saw that this device is no more supported by UT, maybe it's better to change it

The device should not be an issue.It also happens for me if i install custom calendar-app, can't open it from the open store, but it works if i launch it from the drawer or via indicator.
-
maybe just try to remove it and reinstall it ?

ah i've re-read your post, the button stay with "install", so no idea why, but without logs will be hard to know what is happening

@keb it seems you have an old Xenial version installed....
in system settings->updates do you see any click apps that asked to be upgraded ?
Otherwise did you tried to removed it ? -
@lduboeuf
can I try to move from stable to release canal ? -

@lduboeuf
can I try to move from stable to release canal ?hmm what do you mean by "release" canal ? If you are on 20.04 stable then all fine.
But wonder why you still have that old 16.04 Calendar app... -
@lduboeuf
I think I tried to install an old version of calendar manualy -
I tried to install manualy the 3 version I can download here https://open-store.io/app/calendar.ubports
unsuccesfully ! -
@keb said in calender doesn't want to be installed:

unsuccesfully !so have you tried to removed it first from the app openstore ?
And do you confirm there is no update available in System Settings for calendar before ? -
and btw if you choose to download a click from the Openstore website, choose the one with the correct architecture, likely arm64 for your device...
But Calendar is available from the app directly -
I am not certain if this is the issue but I had similar issues with the Music app.
I found if you remove one of the core apps it leaves a broken symlink in /opt
When you remove that symlink and reboot you can get it from the openstore again. -
hello, thanks for your help.
I erased the directory calendar in /opt/click... but it still doesn't work
