      Hi,
My present phone (which runs UT) needs repairs, and I'm debating buying a new(used) phone. I'll lose 3G in December, so the fact that VoLTE seems to be working well for most people using the Poco X3 is very encouraging.

I have a few specific questions, but any general observations on the port and its quirks (they all have some) are very welcome.

-I saw on the Issues board a photo quality issue. Is it worse than with other UT devices, or maybe just one user who's used to Android photos?

-Any experience with this seller on ebay? Should an Indonesian model work fine, as long as it's the NFC version?

-Any MMS and or VoLTE reports from Canadian carriers?

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide. General comments about the port are welcome!

        Hi @wally

        1. Regarding the camera, it is indeed the main drawback of the Poco X3 running Ubuntu Touch. However, it is possible to use GCam through Waydroid : https://t.me/ut_pocox3/18640
        2. As long as the codename is surya (Poco X3 NFC) or karna (Poco X3), there should be no issues.
        3. Concerning Canadian carriers, perhaps @Ontario can provide you with useful information.

@Eric-H Thanks a lot for your reply, and for all your work on this port!
Never had to use Waydroid yet, but I guess I could start 🙂
Are the photos from the UT camera app that bad? Somebody posted sample photos to the Issues page and the UT one didn't look very different from the Gcam without HDR one to me eye.

@Eric-H Interesting! Even the unblocked photo isn't so bad to my eye, but I see the difference. Thanks for pointing me to that!
Very helpful to know the details before spending hundreds on one phone or another. Thank you!
