Can not install libertine on new Volla Quintus
-
The installation stops with this message:
W:Failure trying to run: chroot"/home/phablet/.cache/libertine-container/focal/rootfs" dpkg --force-depends-- install /var/cache/apt/archives/ libc6_2.31-0ubuntu9_arm64.deb W:See /home/phablet/.cache/libertine-container/focal/rootfs/debootstarp/debootstarp.log for details (possibly the package /var/cache/archives/ libc6_2.31-0ubuntu9_arm64.deb is at fault)

How do I solve this problem as a new linux user?

@barerabarbra said in Can not install libertine on new Volla Quintine:
See /home/phablet/.cache/libertine-container/focal/rootfs/debootstarp/debootstarp.log for details
Did you check this file as told ?
Can you put its content here (using code tag like I did in your first post) ?What version of Ubuntu Touch do you have on your phone?
Are you sure libertine normally works on Quintus anyway ?I'm not familiar at all with libertine but if you want an efficient help from someone who is, you must give the more details you can.

@Keneda Sorry, I do not know how to do that.

I have Ubuntu Touch 20.04 And yes it should work on Quintus.

@barerabarbra
Try to instal libertine again then when it fails directly use the UT file explorer (unlocked to access all files) to go to "/home/phablet/.cache/librrtine-container/focal/rootfs/debootstrap" folder and copy "debootstrap.log" to your user area ("download" or "document" folder for instance).
If you succeed that then we'll see next step. -
@Keneda Thank you for your help. I did not find anything else inside the phablet file then the home files I can find without loging in with my password. I have asked for an account on Volla user forum. I guess the problems I am facing may problems with Volla hardware or software?
