Database for sms is stored in ~/.local/share/history-service/history.sqlite
As the name suggest it is a sqlite database so you can copy it to your computer and use a sqlite browser.
There is a Thread table iirc where you can play with.
Admitting you know some SQL.There is a CLI tool also on UT so you can just do
sqlite [thedbabsolutepath] "SELECT * FROM threads;" -
I just wanted to ask if anyone’s tried using Teleports or File Manager to grab the SMS database directly and format it outside the phone? I’ve been looking into exporting conversations too, and I’m curious if newer scripts or tools have come up lately that make this easier, without needing to mess too much with command line stuff.

Should be sqlite3, not sqlite
(on this version, anyway)
