        Hello,
i'm trying install ubuntu touch on a Lenovo MD 10 (TB-X306F) with android TB-X306F_S230940_240402_BMP with ubports Installer (0.11.2). USB - Debugging isk aktivated and OEM is unlocked.
When in start ubports intaller the tablet boots to fastboot mode, while "asserting unlocked bootloader variable" nothing mor happens, it hangs.

Can anybody help me? In the description i read i have to install the android 11 stock firmware. I load the linked "SP_Flash_Tool_v6.2228_Linux". But i dont know and find no help how to flash this firmware.

        (Excuse my bad english)

@as1234 Is your bootloader unlocked? What version of the tablet is it - 2Gb32Gb version or the 4Gb/64Gb version?

It is the 4Gb/64Gb Version. I don't think the bootloader is unlocked, i don't know how.

@as1234 Thats the first bit. You then have to boot to fastboot and unlock it there running the command in terminal of the PC fastboot oem unlock

Ok, to install on this device:

                  1. Boot into Android, enable Developer Options and enable OEM unlocking and USB debugging.

                  2. Ensure you are on Android 11 and your device is the 4Gb/64Gb version.

                  3. Open a terminal on the PC - if using Windows go to the folder where ADB and Fastboot.exe are and right click, Open in Terminal.

                  4. Plug the device into the PC and in the pop up window accept and then type in to the terminal on the PC, ADB reboot bootloader. This will boot you to fastboot mode.

                  5. Once in fastboot mode type in fastboot oem unlock or fastboot flashing unlock and follow the onscreen prompts. Once you have selected to unlock, the screen will freeze. Hold the power button and let the device reboot.

                  6. Set up Android again. Enable Developer Options and USB debugging.

                  7. Fire up the UT installer and follow the onscreen prompts. I suggest installing Stable 24.04.01. When it is installing, leave the tablet alone and allow it to do its thing.

A last Question: when the tablet boots there is standing something like: the device is unlocked and not sure. Should i lock the bootloader again ???

@as1234 No, DO NOT lock the bootloader again, this could brick your device! See the notification as a kind of "your free from android now". 🙂
