@UBportsNews Many thanks to Alfred for the possibility to encrypt personal data, really great! In the release notes of 24.04-1.0, it's stated that the feature needs to be enabled per-device, and indeed there seem to be some devices where it hasn't landed yet. How likely is it that the feature will be available for all noble devices eventually?

@UBportsNews What is meant by "Supportive Member" as opposed to "Free Member" when signing up to help with Writing, Testing, etc?
Is signing up under the Get Involved section of the website still a good way to go about joining these teams? It hasn't worked the past couple times I've tried.

Thanks for keeping us informed and entertained!

@UBportsNews I found 5G setting in cellular settings in Ubuntu Touch 24.04-2.x Daily in xiaomi redmi note 9 pro and poco X3 .I want to know whether the phone supports 5G service ,If it supports how do I know it ? Whether I have to change my SIM to 5G Sim to verify it or any other way ?

@alagirialagiri Both those devices, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and POCO x3 NFC are 2G/3G/4G LTE only. This is the hardware. 5G will only work on a device with 5G Modem hardware and the BLOB's to support it. The OnePlus N10 5G has a hardware 5G modem so technically should work with 5G if UT is set up for it (and I cannot remember if it is yet).

How is the Installer progressing to work with Apple Silicon (i.e. M1, M2,M3,M4 and now M5 CPU's) based PC's and Laptops?

There are still questions (in one of the Telegram channels) on why devices are not working on Noble when it is available to download on the installer before soft bricking the device. Could Noble be removed from these devices installer until it is resolved?
