This are my remarks after installing Ubuntu 24.04.1 Status @ Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 (Lavender):

Installation using ubports-installer was a bit wonky, as there were some errors during install. Hitting retry though, made the install go through and at the end it was successful.

The OS was responsive and everything worked with the exception of:

I cannot install snap successfully. More on that here
Sometimes, when receiving a call I cannot hear the caller, only a bizarre digital noise. This never happened when I make the call.

I am available for additional testing if asked.

Thank you for the feedback. Can you confirm if the torch works for you? It doesn't for me so I thought it was broken
