30 days passed and the Xiaomi community app says: "Application quota limit reached, please try again after 05/30 (mm/dd) 00:00 (GMT+8)"

I though other people reported this message in MiUnlock app.

I guess I have to be granted through the Community app and then do the unlocking job connecting the phone to the PC's MiUnlock app.

I have found that the community app request is only for devices running HyperOS, not MIUI. So, the quota limit is not applicable.

          @pleoni could you elaborate, please?
My device seems to be still deactivated.
An older version of MiUnlock software says that I should add my Xiaomi account to "Settings" → "MIUnlockStatus", but I already have done so and got a small pop up stating that I did it succesfully.
I am completely lost what to try next.

Perhaps the quota limit is the number of Xiaomi devices your Xiaomi account can unlock during a given time.

@Vlad-Nirky No, the quota limit is the number of unlocking request per day that Xiaomi approves. I read somewhere that it was set to 2000 requests per day. It seems that millions of people are waiting till midnight in Beijing, because the limit is reached instantaneously.
However, according to what is written in the Xiaomi community app this procedure, and hence the limit, is for devices running HyperOS.
In my case I am running MIUI12.
EDIT: I read contradictory info about the number of devices one can unlock, but this is the first and only one I want to unlock.

I wanted to prove @kln_nurv wrong, but (even though it makes no sense the request about a Chinese account, the midnight authorization, etc) I think I won't be able.
                  I am completely stuck.
Xiaomi's global support is very funny. Doesn't matter what you ask (steps to unlock, the meaning of error 10013, etc.) they always answer that unlocking is unsafe and ask if I need assistance with anything else.
Xiaomi Community is also full of people complaining about the impossibility of unlocking but nobody is providing answers. It is full of speculations.
So, I will keep trying but my hope is underground 😞

Any chance that a vpn to do the process could improve?

@vlad-nirky I haven't tried but I don't think I need it. I guess VPN would be necessary in case I want to fake my location, e.g, I am a Chinese that wants to avoid restrictions in China or, as @kln_nurv suggested, someone that wants to create a Chinese Xiaomi account without being there.
In all my reading I understood that Chinese people and Chinese devices are less likely to get permission to unlock the bootloader.
                      Not the case.
