Wired Display for Pixel 3aXL?

I have had some success with the wireless external display (LG WebOS TV), however, I have had no success with a wired display. My attempt at trying to get a wired display was with a dock meant for the Steam Deck, with an HDMI cable plugged in. Has anybody had any success with a wired display via USB-C? If so, how would I go about getting it working?

@thedeafenguy this device does not support display(port) over usb-c.
So you won't be able to achieve wired display mode. -
