Lenovo Tab11
-
Hello UB forum,
I just bought a Lenovo Tab M11, as I saw on the Lenovo support website that ubuntu-Touch could be installed :
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/fr/fr/products/tablets/m-series-tablets/lenovo-tab-m11-k11/solutions/ht512165-how-to-install-the-ubuntu-oem-image-on-your-lenovo-platformBUT,
it does not appear on the ubuntu-touch website :
https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/device/amar-row-wifi/What do you think is the most reliable ?
Thank you ! -
@noliv All I see is Ubuntu, not Ubuntu Touch. When I looked at the downloads for this tablet (M11) it stated not available for this platform.
If the device is not on the installer or you research and find no experimental port (such as with the tab TB-X606F), then no one is porting to it in the open, i.e if they are they are doing it for themselves .

For anyone else wanting to run Linux on the Lenovo Tab M11.
It seems the mentioned Lenovo support link contains wrong information.
I can't download any image from their support site after registration on their platform, and the steps mentioned on the page seems to be for a desktop/laptop installation of Linux.
