no mail notification with Dekko?

hi,
i am using ubuntu touch on a volla phone 22.
There is no integrated mail client (?) so i have installed "Dekko 2".
But Dekko doesn't check mails at background (?) so i doesn't receive any notification about new mails.what do i wrong?

hi,i don't remember having to toggle anything yo make Dekko notify but have you checked Dekko setting and ensure in system settings notifications that it is allowed for Dekko ?

Hi,
the problem was not dekko directly.
My mail provider allows only check/sync every 15 minutes.
Dekko sync -out of the box- every 5 minutes.
Seemingly the syncs where blocked.
After configure sync every 15 minutes it works. -
