      I've installed Sublime Text with Libertine, and while it works well enough when launched from the terminal i.e. libertine-container-manager exec -c subl, the desktop/menu launcher in Lomiri is broken.

      By default, sublime_text.desktop launches the executable directly:

      ...
      Exec=/opt/sublime_text/sublime_text %F
      ...

      instead of the launcher bash script /usr/bin/subl, but both work when launched from the terminal (both with libertine-container-manager exec ... and from a libertine shell) without any major issue. I've tried editing sublime_text.desktop to call subl, but to no avail.

      Any insight as to what could be causing this and how to workaround it?

        There is an app in the Open Store, LogViewer, which allows easy access to the application logs. Checking the Sublime Text logs with this app might surface the reason for the failure to launch.

          @arubislander I've looked at the logs per your suggestion, but strangely enough the app does not list any log pertaining to Sublime Text (which I would expect to find under focal_sublime_*), and I don't find any reference to it in any of the lomiri-* logs.

          As an update to the initial question, lomiri-app-launch focal_sublime_0.0 reports Started: focal_sublime_0.0 with no error, but like with the desktop shortcut, nothing is launched.

          Also, occasionally just clicking the app shortcut will fully kill/power off the OS.
