            Hi!
Has anybody heard anything from the Furi Labs / Furiphone people? In March they said that a port for their phone might soon appear in the UBports installer.
(News on the Brax3 port is also welcome if you've heard anything about their progress)

And in case Marius is around, a couple Q&As ago I asked:
"Has there ever been talk amongst the devs about implementing RCS messaging? I hear it touted as an open standard, but I lack technical knowledge. Would it be as hard to work with as MMS was?
I'm forever grateful to have functional MMS over here in Canada where it's an expected default way to send photos, etc."

Thank you all for being the best!

@UBportsNews Hi, first thanks to everyone who work on this amazing OS, a few questions :

              • The last OTA 9 release brought Waydroid 1.5.1 containing initial support for upcoming official Android 13 images. Do you know when those images will be released and do you know if it will be easily upgradable from current Waydroid without needing a full reinstall ?
              • The current gps is only working on rare occasion for me, maybe others have the same problem, does the team plan to change the implementation or change the way the gps is working in the future ? (I've heard about AGPS being much more functional maybe)
              • On the list of supported devices, why are they stars next to certain devices ? There are very well supported ones without stars and where it's written "The device is actively receiving updates and will remain at the core of Ubuntu Touch development."
              • The Dekko2 mail app doesn't support OAuth so it's not possible to add a Outlook or Yahoo/Aol account, is this something that will be implemented ?

              Thanks for your answers 🙂

              Google Pixel 3a XL - 20.04 Stable (OTA-9)

Subject: Question: Porting Python SDL Game to Ubuntu Touch

                Message:

                Hello from France 🇫🇷,

I'm the developer of Night Invasion, a real-time multiplayer game fully written in Python. It uses Pygame (SDL under the hood) and standard libraries for networking and audio.

I would like to know if it is technically feasible to port this game to Ubuntu Touch, given that:

It is 100% Python (Python 3.12),

It relies on pygame, pygame.mixer, and SDL for rendering/audio,

It does not use any C/C++ extensions beyond SDL dependencies.

Are there any compatibility issues or restrictions I should be aware of on Ubuntu Touch regarding SDL/Pygame or Python-based applications?

Thank you in advance and best wishes to the community!
PS it's a closed sources game because my team dont want open source 😞
                Best regards,
                Yann Escarbassière
