        Hello All,

Total newbie here with my first posting. I recently acquired a OP Nord N100 (Metro by T-mobile version). model :BE2015 , Build #: 11.0.14.BE82CF . it's currently running android 11 and really hoping to install UT .. I unlocked the boot-loader with unlock token from one-plus. but while attempting to downgrade to the required OS using the MSM Download tool combined with OxygenOS_10.5.3(global). I bricked the phone.

Somehow with no Qualcomm drivers visible in the device manger, and the only likely connection showing was "BE2015" ? I manged to get a good enough connection established for the MSM tool V4.0 (run under administrator) to indicate "connected" , I then clicked "start" , progress bar started but within a second or two the transfer stopped with the error: " Device not match image(20880) ". and the ph...bricked.

        I'm now following "un-bricking" example here: https://xdaforums.com/t/opn100-oos-metro-be82cf-unbrick-tool-to-restore-your-device-to-oxygenos.4245499/

Big thank you to : Some_Random_Username

Problem: My laptop, running windows 10, still doesn't have the Qualcomm drivers properly installed. I have tried a few times now deleting rebooting, reinstalling drivers, rebooting. I've also disabled Windows driver signature verification. computer is in "testing mode" , confirmed. I've also tried USB 3 vs USB 2. ports , USB 2 seems to be preferred.

With the device manger open , I press and hold "volume up" and "volume down" and then connect cable to phone . the computer beeps in error and says "USB device not recognised"..and goes into an error loop: repeating every couple seconds. i scan the device manger list as it reappears in the loop , looking for anything with an error (little yellow warning triangle)... nothing

What am I missing here ? How do I get the Qualcomm drivers installed ?

Also: the Metro-T- Mobile variant seems to have a slightly different OS from the rest of the N100s. Was the error presented during my first MSM tool attempt "..Device not match image(20880).." because I didn't have properly installed Qualcomm drivers OR because of incompatible OS image ? (OS_10.5.3 vs OS_10.5.8) ?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

        Thank you in advance.

@SaLo Sorry you haven't had a reply yet! I don't have the answer, but wanted to give this post a bump in the queue.

I remember at one point that Ruben, the maintainer of this port, who also keeps up the OP N10, said that the Metro/T-Mobile version of the N10 would work. Can't say for certain that applies to N100 as well though.

Weird things sometimes happen with old USB cables, so making sure you've got a really good USB cable is worth it.

Overall it sounds like you've done a lot of things right, and I don't know why it's not working. But I'm not the most knowledgeable. I hope somebody's able to help.
